Sarah and Mike tried to open the door, but there was a chest in the way. They tried to find another opening to the secret room, but they couldn't find one. They came back to the door that had the chest behind it. They tried to open it once more and they got in. Sarah said "Oh my, how did it get all the way over there?" They rushed to the chest and opened it. They found lots of jewelery and money. Sarah and Mike thought this must have been an old room where somebody hid their treasure. Sarah and mike wanted to take some jewelery and money, but they decided not to and that's when they heard loud voices. They looked all around the room to find a hiding place, but instead they found a deep, dark tunnel.
As Sarah and Mike are crawling through the tunnel, Sarah screamed because she saw big, scary eyes. The eyes looked as if someone was going to hurt us. Mike tried to calm Sarah down, but she would not get over it. Mike said, "Just don't look at the eyes." Sarah said, "I'll try," and Sarah never looked at the eyes again. The scary-eyed creature started growling whenever Sarah looked away. They decided to keep on crawling because they heard the same noises they heard in the secret room. They heard two men jangling with money and jewelry. Sarah and Mike started to crawl even faster. Sarah and Mike bumped into a wall. Mike said, "What are we going to do?" Sarah said, "Well, let's feel around to see if we can find another tunnel." Sarah heard Mike screaming from a distance. He had fallen down a dark hole and Sarah never saw him again. Sarah saw a light coming from a different direction. When she got to the end of the tunnel, she fell on a patch of grass. She noticed she was on the street she lived on. Sarah ran home and told her family and they said they could do nothing about Mike. Sarah ran to her room and started crying.
